Salam and hello, people. :)
It definitely getting warmer each day, and since few days ago, the most famous flower in Japan already started to bloom, the sakura or cherry blossom! Sakura flowers last for only less than a week so in this season, Japanese people love to go to picnic and enjoy having a good time and food with friends and family. This event is called "Hanami" or flower seeing and parks will be reaaaly crowded with so many kind of people who comes to have party under sakura trees.
For last 2years I didn't go to hanami for some reasons but I still could enjoy walking under full bloomed sakura trees and reading some books under the tree because there are so many sakura trees along side of the road to my uni. They planted sakura and Icyou(Ginko) tree next to each other so the road will be full with pale pink sakura patels in early April and will be full with yellow Ginko leaves in Autumn. How cool is that?? Actually, one of the reasons why I chose this university is that!lol.
Last Saturday I went hanaming to Yoyogi Park but before that I ran to see a doctor, I cut my finger accidently on Thursday and it was my 2nd time visit to change the bandage. :( He wrapped my hand and wrist as if I broke my finger and people keep asking ne what happened. haha. Seriously I almost fainted so many time while trying to stop bleeding because the cut was a little bit deeper than usual knife cut and I'm kind of person who faint easily when I see a lot of blood. But it was ok la, then I had chance to walk around my uni and feel the lively air, untill now many people come to my uni and the road to enjoy their spring walk, it's quite annoying. :(
That's all.
Hope you have wonderful day too!

Body Shop's Happy Beg
Salam, and a happy new year again!
Ok for this entry, I want to write about what's inside of "happy beg" that I bought on 1st January. In Japan, happy begs or fukubukuro are sold during new year's sale. Basically, it's a beg that contains many products from that shop or brand, and usually you can't see what't inside but they claim that total products' price inside of the beg is more than the price of the beg itself. But since you don't really know what's inside, it's like a happy draw, and people here enjoy it as a new year's tradition to test out their luck for the year.
For me, ofcourse I did research first on internet, and I thought buying fukubukuro from Body Shop is a good idea. They have 3 types, 3500yen, 5000yen and 10000yen. I bought 5000yen one (around RM204 or 51euro.
Actually you can see what's inside of beg and choose what you like in Body Shop, so I chose one that has a shampoo set, I really needed new ones at that time.
I got:
1. Shampoo and conditioner from same line.
2. Hair treatment
3. Wide comb
4. Small body wash and lotion set with bath lily.
5. 2 shower gels.
6. Hand cream
7. Nail file
8. 4 pencils
I was looking for a non-silicone shampoos, and that's why I chose this beg. They smell like cranberries, I think, and I like it. This is my first time using non-silicone shampoo, so I'm not used to the feeling yet, the shampoo doesn't make foams as much and my hair is not as smooth as before. But I will continue to use this because non-silicone shampoo is good for my hair, insyaAllah. :)
I already have a wide tooth comb to comb my hair before shampoo, saya jarang sikat rambut so I don't use this much. I use this treatment together with Volume shampoo and conditioner. and this one smell nicer than them, it's like yummy sweet smell like cake or kuih. I wanted this series of shampoo set if I could. This hair treatment doesn't contain silicone too.
I totally happy to get this set because Moroccan Rose is my top favorite smell from Body Shop and I use its perfume too. This is a travel size so it will be handy when I go to a trip.
I was interested in this series since it was launched in summer, I thought of buying it to use during my morning shower so I was really happy to get not one but two of them! I tried only one of them, FIg and Rosemary one but oh my goodness, it doesn't smell good! When I use it, I feel like a chicken to be marinated because of the rosemary smell. It's still tolerable to use but I will not choose to buy it myself. It's just....erghh. BUT, my skin become really smooth and soft after I used this. I think I will use it once a while and enjoy it's not-so-good smell, but not confident to use it until end. The other Lemon and Thyme one has a refreshing, pleasant smell, I'm thinking of use it after gym session or in the morning when I want to be refreshed.
I love collecting hand cream and lotions so I love this. I didn't buy it by myself before this because it's expensive for a hand cream, but I know it's really popular item and Body Shop. I'm using it right now, typing this entry with cotton gloves on, gloves that I bought from this brand as well. I love that it's in aluminium tube. For nail file, I think I'm not gonna use it because I don't like the feeling, I just feel nervous macam calar kukur je. Geli.
For pencils,I don't know what to do because I don't use pencils anymore and I don't have exams that have to use pencils. I don't have any pencil sharpener in my dorm room. =,= But they are pretty so I will use it to take notes in room or give them to my little cousins.
That's all. Thank you for reading<3

OsakaKyotoKobe
I forgot to post my Golden Week trip to Osaka Kobe Kyoto in early of this month. Golden Week is a holiday season in Japan. Duration of that is different from one year to another, because it contains 4 national holidays and if it happened to be after or before weekend, it becomes 7days. Yang lawaknya, for many of Japanese employer, this is the longest vacation period here!(for workers)
Osaka was a really big city, and surprisingly I didn't hear any Kansai-ben (Osaka area dialect). It was a little bit disappointing because I have a streotype? or a image that all the Osaka people speak kansai-ben but I couldn't hear it live. :( But there are some junior that speak kansai-ben in my club so I can listen to them after this!
Kobe was fun, have many shopping complex, cute trains, and hills! I went to my friend's and it was located on a hill. Couldn't imagine how it is like to live there, have to climb hills to go to train station from house. :O
I like Kyoto so much, because it looks old and beautiful, have many cheeeeeaaaap clothes shops, kind obachan(old lady) that give some discount when she know that we are Malaysian. I had Kansai style takoyaki, and it was quite different from Tokyo's. It is not soft and mushy, quite more carbohydrate like taste (lol my vocab!), and filling. But I think I like takoyaki that my friend made. I like soft, but not too soft one. haha bnyk order plak.
This summer, I want to go to Hiroshima, to meet my old friends. miss them so strong<3
Kobe's train. It looks classic and cute!
Me at Kobe Mosque. It's quite old and I like the atmosphere there.
Seafood viking buffet! In Japan, the term of viking is used to call "all-you-can-eat" style of restaurant.
just random. I have a friend who is called Didi. :D
beautiful Kyoto.
Like in magazines and films, isn't it? wonderful
meeee sitting in a shrine garden in Kyoto.

lunch at my friend's place
Yesterday, I went one of my sister's place, she invited me to have lunch at there. By the way, she is not my biological sister, I don't have an elder sister, so If I say my sister, it means female seniors or kakak-kakak who also live in here and take care of me sometimes. I have a lot of them, I like to be spoiled and manja!yeay!
This sister's place was not near from my place but I wanted to go because she is so KIND, and my harapan tak dikecewakan, when I was there, I had so many delicious dishes and she treated me so nice.
beautiful, isn't it? It's Kazakh's traditional pattern. While my sister was preparing salad, what I did instead of helping her was walking around in the house and see what was in there. Hehe I know in our malay culture (depends on family and individuals, though), a girl should help the host to prepare and kemas-kemas after eat but I can't help myself because we don't have much chance to come to others house who came from different country, don't we? And I have a great interest in culture difference and international sociology, that's what I plan to study in uni so I should take this as a precious opportunity to study about culture. LOL I have so many excuses!
There was a music instrument too. It sounds really nicer than guitar. I don't know, I don't play guitar. I just say it.:p
The meal. I love the soup soooooo much! And the rice. And the salad. And the gratin. Everything!

After the meal, we had some cups of Turkish style the, nuts, cakes and strawberries. Yummy<3
She gave me bread and cakes to eat at my home too!
This afternoon, my friend and I had tea together and we ate that cake. She also say that it was delicious.<3
The bread is so addictive, even though it is already 10pm and I should not eat anything at this time but I can't stop cubit-cubit it because it so nice soft and fluffy. :'(
When I kept saying "you're so nice" to my sister (well, I don't have a good vocab memory lol), and guess what she said to me??
she said....
"It's your kindness to see others kind."
waaaaaaaaaa so cool! Saya pun cair dengar akk ni cakap macam tu, memang betul2 respect la kakak ni!
so boleh la cakap macam tu ea next time kalau ada orang puji kita ni baik. Eh ada ke nak puji kita baik?*tangan ke dada, mata ke atas* ye?:p

a giraffe eating steak
Today, after Arab exam (like usual, I made TONS of stupid careless mistakes), I went to a Japanese restaurant with my friends. The restaurant is quite famous among my uni's students, seems like I'm the only who never been there before this!
Actually I planned to have lunch at my place, try new recipe for mee rebus (yummmy!) but I just couldn't say no to my friends' suggestion to eat at that restaurant so I'm like "ok, let's try their famous don-dish" and decided to postpone my mee rebus plan to tomorrow.
*don is a dish, which they put tempuras or sashimi or anything good to be eaten with rice, on rice in a bowl. If you put nasi lemak in a bowl, put some sambal, cucumber and half-boiled egg, also is called a don. Mau try?hoho
The place was nice, I wouldn't say that is a romantic place to have dinner at your date, but to have some japanese traditional foods with your friends without the noise and smoke, it's really nice.
Rasa macam sangat tenang, macam back to 80-an walaupun saya tak pernah berada di zaman tu. lol
And the waiters are so cute! They wore cute aprons like your little sister wearing in house, not like those maid costumes in Akihabara. So real.lol I sound like a pedophile here. NO! I'm not!!lololol
After staring at the menu list for about 10 min, I ordered seafood don, which is......a lot of kepingan raw fish on rice.
Bad picture quality, it is from my iPhone..><
Ad salmon, sotong, ikan ape tah, ikan ape tah 2, sotong kecik, dan telur dadar guling-guling.
On top is shiso leaves, wasabi paste in sliced tomato. lawa!
it comes with a bowl of miso soup.
Apa rasenye??
hmmm tengokla title entry ni. takleh nk describe its taste.haha
