kenapa saya tak suka kem time skolah

Hari ni tiba-tiba teringat kenangan-kenangan zaman sekolah menengah dulu. I used to hate those camping thing (includes BTN) atas sebab-sebab tertentu.

1. Penceramah yang lebih-lebihkan lelaki

Mostly penceramah yang kununnya (I know how to eja "konon" but I use this spelling to make it looks more eeww) dapat bagi korang motivasi tu, kan penceramah lelaki. Sebab tu la dorang suka lebih-lebihkan lelaki and saja sakitkan hati ktorg.

cth:

'%$&%$#"

Saya tak marah, cuma benci je, encik.

2. Ice breaking yang ada sesi berkompang

Ala korang mesti taukan, penceramah yang takde idea original dan cool mesti guna teknik ni. Suh pelajar ppuan sebut "kelopak" and suh pelajar lelaki sebut "jantung" and ulang-ulang so bunyi jadi cm men kompang.

3. Logo, tema dan bendera kumpulan

Ni memang shit. tak seronok langsung. Bukannya lawa pun hasilnya. Pastu kertas-kertas mahjong tu sape nak bawak balik n simpan? Kununnya nak uji kreativiti kumpulan masing-masing, tapi kreatif apebendanya kalau sume guna prinsip2 lebih kurang: jujur, amanah, berani, cekap, mesra. Dah macam polis pulak da.

4. Kawad dan pakcik jaga kawad

I hate kawad. Like, seriously? kalau pakcik tu betul-betul hebat and terrer gilerrr, asal pakcik duk kt hutan cmni and layan budak-budak hingusan? Dah tu suka sangat layan kitorg sebagai brats yang spoiled and kaya-raya anak orang berada. Setahu saya, kawan-kawan saya yang ayah die berpangkat tinggi takde pun nak show-off pasal tu. Len la orang bawahan yang takde orang untuk di bully selain budak sekolah menengah sbb dlm army, die pangkat rendah je. Tolonglah cermin diri dulu.

Pernah sekali tu sorg budak cina terjumpa daging dlm beehun goreng. Mestilah dia upset kan? Cuba kita bayangkan, kat negara non-muslim, kita mintak food yg xd meat, time makan tiba2 terjumpa. Bengang kan? Jijik kan? memang la kite ni majority dan negara kita negara islam, tapi kite kena amek berat pasal hati kawan-kawan kita yang duk sama dengan kita jugak.
Apa salahnya time buat borang untuk sertai kem tu letak la bahagian keperluan makanan die. Ad allergy ke, tak vegetarian ke, tak makan daging lembu ke. Kan senang, tak payah time dah sampai kantin baru nak tanya sorang2. Dorang pun ada hak dorang jugakkan.

6. Tempat kem yang "keras"

Serious, tak paham. Nape nak wat kat tempat yang keras. Pastu nak takut-takutkan budak n suh ikut arahan komander kem.

Pastu mulalah sesi "aku bukan apa, tapi aku ingat dia ni baik, rupa-rupanya...."

tofu cupcakes

tofu cupcakes. really easy to make!
Yesterday I had a meeting with my usrah sisters. I didn't have money to buy anything to bring to the meeting so I woke early a little bit and bake cakes. It's really easy because I only had to mix up 300gram tofu, 200gram mixed flour, 20gram sugar and an egg. I put dark and milk chocolate and a little bit of maple syrup to add some taste. Result was so-so, not like surprisingly delicious but I will try this menu again next time if I don't have money to buy other ingredient. ;)

scones

Meeting for my club was cancelled so I baked chunky chocolate scones and make fried rice stock.

This is my first time to try this recipe so it doesn't look as nice as starbuck's scones. hehe

It looks messy but hey, I made it myself.:p
Then I made fried rice. Tak dapat jumpa perencah yang bes so try men campak perencah mee bandung. Hasilnya... jadi!! bau macam mee bandung tapi rasa tak la pelik sangat.

Today's dinner

bento

Left: boiled broccoli and sweet corn salads.
on rice: egg and spinach, tofu carrot and mushrooms cooked with soy sause.

Cooking in the morning before go to class became my new habits since this new semester.
Since I don't have 1st period class, I have more time in morning. I used to go to gym and then cook for my breakfast and lunch, but I changed my schedule a little bit and now I go to gym in the evening. It takes some time to see the result, so hopefully I can stick to this healthy life style. :)

What I carry around (summer)

Today was quite hot, even it wasn't as hot as yesterday. I wore abaya to uni, because I thought it would be nice wear loose clothes. I got good comments from my friends, they didn't know that it is an abaya, they thought it as a dress or one piece! Maybe they don't know that black dress which Arab women always wear comes in other colour and designs as well. I wore purple denim-like abaya with salmon pink hijab, and paired them with gold buttoned navy jacket and boots. My Italian teacher gave me compliment about my hijab, he liked the colour!

Since summer is just around the corner and it gets hotter lately, I make a pouch to put things that I will need to keep me fresh and smell nice.

from left above, pocket tissues that I got for free, Clinique lipstick, glosses, deodorant sheets, hand creem, Body Shop's perfume, mirror that my dad bought in Moscow, spray to eliminate odour from clothes, mini Clinique powder and sunscreen with spf24.

All of them in big Peach John pouch (which I got it for free, again) like this.

I love summer but hate to sweat and to smell bad. :(

essay time

Today I have to work on my essay homeworks, I have a writing class(in English), and tomorrow I have to submit a short story on a topic that I chose myself. I chose Hijab for my topic. Now I'm writing my essay while sipping some nescafe. :D

Lately I realized that I took so many English class and other language class (Italian, Spanish and French) even though I study in Japan! It's because I want to improve my language skills, you can read that mine writing skills is really bad (look at the first sentence of this entry, I repeated so mane "I have"s!lol). And learning foreign language is so fun.

My favourite mug. I like it because it's smaller than other mugs and comes with cute spoon  that has same flower on it. I used it to drink hot milk before bed and to drink coffee while doing my homeworks. Bought it a 105yen shop.

I'm learning French from last year but I couldn't master it much because classes I took were focusing on grammar most of the time and it didn't work for me. At first, I wanted to study Chinese because I want to talk with my Chinese-Malaysian friends but somehow I got into French class. It was difficult at first because French wasn't my choice but as I learn it, I fell in love with that language! Friend of mine is going to Paris this summer for one year exchange student, so perhaps I can go there to visit her in winter or spring vacation. Can't wait<3

I start Spanish and Italian from this year because I went to Spain last March, and it was really beautiful. I went to south part of Spain, that is Granada, Cordoba and Seville. People there were nice, even we couldn't speak Spanish, they tried to help us a lot. All I needed was to smile and say hola! Orange trees on the side of roads, flower, Alhambra, buildings were really amazing. I met beautiful Arab girls who were studying Spanish, they were really nice and friendly. I think it would be nicer if I could speak their language, that's why I started to learn it from this year. For Italian, I take Italian class because it's teacher is a funny and nice guy. He likes to introduce Italian songs to us in class every week. In text book, there many example of food's name and I will become hungry.lol  But I think this language is the toughest, everything has female and male, singular and plural!
